Hello, I've been wanting to install Krita, however my Mac computer is running an old version of OS X, 10.9 'Mavericks.' The official website says that Krita only works with OS X 10.11, and sure enough, it doesn't want to open.

Every time I've been using krita for just over 1 year my macbook(2015) always begins to heat up after 2-3 minutes of use. I have never used it for any complex drawing - mainly line art. File size i normally choose is A4 300dpi. Currently i have 4.1.7 installed on my mac 10.14.3. This has always been an ongoing issue even after I download the latest krita available so any help with this could be great as each time i use krita I worry about how hot my mac gets and how much work the fans do on my device. I do not have this issue for any other design software I use and this also still occurs when I switch off all other programs. Tested it right now and cpu went up to 53% in a 1-2 minutes whilst scribbling on a 150dpi file. My mac is placed on a lap stand and is cleaned quite well so there should be no issues with the device/fan itself
